Job Description:

This telemetry nursing role takes place on the 4th Floor Surgical/Neuro unit in Prescott, AZ. You'll be caring for diverse patient populations, including those with COVID-19, respiratory, GI, diabetic, stroke, and surgical conditions. Your duties will involve interpreting telemetry strips, managing titratable drips like Diltiazem, and collaborating with charge nurses and house supervisors. The shift consists of 12-hour days, with scheduled self-scheduling and mandated weekend and holiday shifts. A single day of orientation will introduce you to the unit's specific protocols and electronic systems, including Cerner. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a neuro-surgical environment that emphasizes both independent judgment and teamwork, with access to remote telemetry monitoring and breathing treatments.
