Job Description:

This travel opportunity places you in a CVOR surgical unit at HCA Kendall Hospital, located in Miami, FL. You will work in a 2nd-floor cardiovascular operating room that handles complex procedures such as CABGs, valve replacements, thoracotomies, ECMO, pacemakers, trachs, and Maze operations. The role involves supporting a small team of OR RN and OR ST staff with a patient ratio of 1:1, ensuring smooth and efficient surgeries. You will handle advanced CVOR equipment and document procedures in Meditech. The 12-hour day shifts run from 0700 to 1930, with call requirements that include 24-hour weekend coverage and limited weekday call shifts after 3 pm. This assignment is ideal for surg tech-certified professionals confident working independently in a fast-paced, multi-hospital environment, sometimes covering Mercy and Aventura as well.
