Job Description:

Step into a travel healthcare contract as a General Robotic First Assistant in the Surgery unit at a main campus setting in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This assignment supports a wide range of procedures, including total joints, spine fusions, neurosurgical cases such as craniotomies, robotic procedures, and general surgical services—plus specialty work spanning urology and cardiovascular procedures including open heart.

You’ll bring hands-on, first-assistant level experience with surgical workflow and specialized equipment, supporting teams using tools such as electrosurgical systems, Neptune suction, and patient positioning devices. For neurosurgical work, the unit features Synaptive Medical Modus V robotic digital microscope—described as the only system of its kind in Tennessee. Documentation is completed in Meditech, and scheduling follows 7a–3p or 7a–5p day options. If you’ve circulated previously in orthopedic and spine cases (neurosurgical and gen/robotic experience preferred), this role is a standout opportunity to work with advanced technology and a focused surgery team.
