Job Description:

Step into a Surgical Tech role supporting surgical services in Omaha, Nebraska—built for experienced OR professionals who enjoy variety across general surgery and advanced procedure types. This contract assignment features a day shift schedule (07:00–19:30) with a rotating 12-hour structure, plus weeknight call about 1–2 nights per week on average and weekend call about every 4–5 weekends on average. You’ll work with a fast-paced surgical schedule, supporting day-to-day throughput across a high-volume OR setting with frequent cases.

Expect bi-weekly orientations, with the possibility of occasional off-shifting (1–3 shifts in a week) once every 4-week scheduling period, though it’s often not needed. Block schedules cannot be accommodated. The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of Surgical Tech experience, with Level 1 Trauma experience highly preferred. Experience is needed in General Surgery, Endo/Laparoscopic, Bariatrics, and Neuro, with Oncology and Ortho procedures highly preferred. DaVinci experience is also highly preferred. BLS is required.

First-time travelers are not accepted, and candidates must be more than 100 miles from the facility. Scrubs are provided by the facility.
