Job Description:

Join Hartford Hospital as a CVOR technologist and become a vital part of the cardiac surgery team. This role involves supporting complex open heart procedures, including CABG, valve surgeries, aortic aneurysm repairs, and endovascular cases. You'll handle critical tasks such as assisting with CPB cannulation, cardioplegia delivery, pacer and defibrillator setup, and managing devices like IABP, LVAD, and Impella. Expect to work 40 hours weekly, primarily on 12-hour day shifts, with on-call duties during weeknights and weekends. This assignment offers a hands-on experience in a busy surgical environment, perfect for a tech eager to sharpen skills in high-stakes cardiac surgeries.
