Job Description:

This Medical Surgical Registered Nurse role at Miami Valley Hospital offers a unique opportunity to work in a Level 1 trauma center, specializing in orthopedic care with a team-based nursing model. You'll be caring for patients post-trauma, post-surgical orthopedic procedures, and managing conditions like traumatic hip fractures and spine surgeries. The shift involves 12-hour nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, four days a week, providing a consistent schedule with substantial hands-on experience in trauma, orthopedic, and medical-surgical nursing. Expect to work with tele/ drips, heart monitors, drains, and support high-acuity patients, while collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes. This assignment emphasizes acute orthopedic care, giving you a targeted and rewarding nursing experience in a fast-paced environment.
