Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment places you on the neuro medical-surgical unit, specifically focused on acute neurology cases such as stroke, spine surgeries, seizures, and brain tumors. You'll work 12-hour day shifts, providing care to a variety of neuroscience patients, including those requiring titrated drips like heparin. The role involves collaborating with a charge nurse and house supervisor, handling telemetry monitoring with Phillips monitors, and participating in unit-specific orientation. Prior experience on a dedicated neuro unit, trauma experience, and travel background are essential. Expect to work with nurse aides, manage high-flow oxygen devices sparingly, and support patients in a fast-paced environment.
