Job Description:

This infusion registered nurse role offers a chance to work in a specialized outpatient setting focusing on hematology and oncology treatments, as well as other adult and geriatric medical conditions. You will be responsible for administering infusions, port accessing, and IV placements, with a patient census averaging 32 across 12 beds. The shift runs five days a week, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and provides a schedule that balances work and personal time. This assignment is perfect for nurses who enjoy a structured routine and working closely with a dedicated team in a supportive environment. No scrubs are provided, so feel free to wear any color you prefer. The role also involves documenting care using CERNER and INTELLIDOSE systems and managing medications via OMNICELL. Certifications such as BLS, chemo (ONS/ONCC), and OCN are preferred, with orientation comprising 3-4 shifts with a preceptor to help you get acclimated quickly. A unique aspect of this position is the opportunity to engage in special procedures like port accessing and IV placement, offering valuable experience in infusion therapy in a fast-paced setting.
