Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers a rewarding opportunity for registered nurses to work in a busy medical / telemetry swing unit in Schuyler, Nebraska. You'll be scheduled for 12-hour night shifts, providing comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients, including those with conditions like pneumonia, pancreatitis, or diabetes. This assignment is unique due to its small-team, family-like atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork and flexibility. Expect to assist with IV antibiotics, wound care, and therapy, often working alongside nurse aides and charge nurses, with a typical patient ratio of 1:3-4. The role requires a willingness to float to the emergency department if needed, and adherence to policies such as no artificial nails and specific dress code standards. Prior to start, you'll complete a two-day orientation session to prepare for the duties ahead.
