Job Description:

This CVICU Registered Nurse contract offers a chance to work in a specialized post-open heart recovery unit, focusing on complex cardiac cases including TAVR, thoracotomies, and esophagectomies. The role involves interpreting dysrhythmias, managing ventilated patients, and utilizing advanced procedures such as ECMO, IABP, and arterial line management. You'll be working 12-hour day shifts, July 15, 2024, for a total of 13 weeks, with a consistent schedule of every other weekend. This assignment provides a unique opportunity to hone your skills in a high-acuity cardiac setting, collaborating with a team utilizing SBAR, EPIC, and PYXIS systems. Travel nurses with at least two years of CC experience and CVICU or open-heart background are encouraged to apply. Local candidates are welcome at the same rate, and float requirements ensure a varied and dynamic workday.
