Job Description:

Join Deaconess IL Medical Center as a Neuro MS/TELE RN on a 13-week travel contract working 12-hour night shifts. This role offers the opportunity to work with neuro and neuro-surgical patients, including CVAs, postoperative back/neck surgeries, and cerebral angiograms. You'll be responsible for managing a variety of medical overflow patients, performing comprehensive neuro assessments, and utilizing EPIC charting systems. The setting is a 22-bed neuro unit with a staff-to-patient ratio of 1:4. Candidates should have at least two years of strong med-surg/telemetry experience, neuro-specific skills, and a current IL RN license. Flexibility to float to medical units and managing complex neuro assessments are key components of this position. Expect a fast-paced environment that requires resilience, a sharp critical eye, and a focus on patient safety and detailed documentation.
