Job Description:

This travel healthcare assignment is focused on telemetry and med-surg nursing, offering the opportunity to work on a dedicated unit where you'll be responsible for delivering patient care to diverse populations including geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, and telemetry patients. Prior to starting, you'll self-study telemetry strips and complete a basic dysrhythmia test to ensure proficiency in telemetry monitoring—think of it as your "passport" to the unit. Shifts are 12-hour nights, giving you plenty of time during the day to explore or rest. The role involves assessing, planning, and implementing individualized care plans while collaborating with a skilled healthcare team. This assignment is unique in its requirement for ACLS and EPIC EMR experience, with the possibility of floating to additional campuses. While there’s no regular call rotation, occasional on-call shifts may occur, with a quick response expected if called in. It’s a fantastic chance to refine your telemetry skills in a supportive environment.
