Job Description:

Join a 42-bed Med-Surg Telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse supporting a fast-paced mix of cardiac and chronic-condition cases—think Diabetes, CHF, COPD, Renal needs, plus General Surgery and Orthopedics. This travel assignment runs on a 4x12 night schedule with weekends and holidays included, offering a clear routine of 19:00–07:30. You may float within like acuities or less if needed, and depending on census you may be asked to take IMCU patients.

What makes this assignment unique is the focus on medication infusion proficiency and telemetry-ready workflow. Be prepared to work confidently with insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips, and provide care across a team of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNA/US staff, and unit secretaries. If you enjoy mastering both rhythm and routine while caring for a varied patient population, this is your next night-shift challenge—with just enough “keep-moving” energy to stay engaged.

Required certifications include BLS and ACLS. CPI is preferred and can be completed prior to start.

Weather:

Expect generally warm, humid conditions with occasional rain and plenty of warm evenings—great for getting outside between shifts.
