Job Description:

Join the specialized transplant operating room team in Indianapolis, where every day offers the chance to work on complex abdominal transplants, including kidney, pancreas, liver, and intestinal procedures. This role is ideal for RNs with at least two years of transplant experience and a passion for precision in high-stakes surgeries. You will be responsible for supporting the surgical team during multi-visceral procedures, charting with Cerner, and participating in call rotations totaling 40-60 hours every six weeks. The shifts are 12 hours long, scheduled three days a week from 7:00 to 19:30, with guaranteed hours to keep your schedule predictable. This assignment also involves floating across different surgical specialties within the transplant unit, offering a varied and engaging experience. Local residents are not eligible, but pending licenses are accepted—just ensure you have an Indiana, temporary, or compact license ready at start. A strong transplant background, specifically in kidney and liver surgeries, is required to excel in this specialized setting.
