Job Description:

Join the emergency department as a Registered Nurse traveler at a prestigious Level I Trauma and Teaching Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. This assignment offers a chance to work primarily with admitted patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, with 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. If you thrive on adrenaline and enjoy making a direct impact during critical moments, this role is perfect. You’ll be responsible for medication administration—including IV meds with the seven medication rights—and documenting clinical findings. With a mixture of emergency care and trauma experience, you’ll handle complex cases, often floating within scope to adult PCUs, Peds ED, or ED Holding as needed. This assignment is uniquely suited for experienced trauma nurses ready to tackle challenges in a renowned hospital setting for 13 weeks.
