Job Description:

Join our team as a Med/Surg RN on a 13-week travel contract in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing medical-surgical nursing care across diverse patient populations in a large hospital setting. You’ll be evaluating patients with chronic conditions like COPD, Diabetes, CHF, and end-stage renal disease, managing procedures such as colonoscopies, thoracentesis, and minor surgeries. Your responsibilities include assessments, care planning, medication administration, and using equipment like IV pumps, wound vacs, and telemetry monitors. This assignment offers an opportunity to experience a busy, varied unit with a focus on complex medical care, and the chance to float within the medical units as needed.
