Job Description:

This PACU Registered Nurse role in St. Louis offers a chance to be part of a Level I trauma center's surgical recovery team. You’ll be managing complex postoperative patients recovering from general anesthesia, including those on vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and with multiple drains. Your day-to-day tasks will include pre-op patient preparation, recovery management, and supporting the transition from anesthesia. The position features rotating start times, and night shifts are structured as three 12-hour shifts per week, providing an engaging yet demanding experience that sharpens your critical care skills. This assignment is perfect for nurses with at least one year of critical care or trauma recovery experience eager to work in an environment where precision and calm handling of complicated cases are essential.
