Job Description:

This PACU Registered Nurse position offers an engaging 13-week contract in Columbia, Missouri, where you will be working three 12-hour day shifts from 09:00 to 21:30. You will be responsible for managing post-anesthesia patients recovering in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, with a focus on monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and ensuring patient stability every step of the way. The role requires ICU experience and travel experience, with opportunities to handle a variety of cases in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Expect to participate in rotating weekend, holiday, and weeknight call duties, all within a facility that operates 24/7. This assignment is ideal for seasoned nurses who enjoy a lively workload and are comfortable with physical demands like ambulating and reaching. Your commitment will be approximately 36 hours per week, giving you time to explore the vibrant surroundings of Columbia once your shift is complete.
