Job Description:
This MICU Registered Nurse role involves providing specialized care in a fast-paced, 40-bed ICU setting. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, supporting high-acuity patients with procedures like endoscopy, bronchoscopy, and trach management. No license in hand is required to apply, but you must obtain the necessary license before starting. The assignment offers a unique opportunity to experience a Level 1 ICU environment with advanced bedside procedures and monitoring technology. Expect to float between campuses within the Dayton area and support a dedicated nursing team during a critical care rotation that emphasizes patient recovery immediately post-procedure. The role is ideal for nurses with at least 1.5 years of hospital experience, including level 1 ICU or similar, and EPIC system proficiency is preferred. You will be expected to work every other weekend and holiday, with some shifts subject to cancellation based on census. This is a 13-week contract with a weekly gross earning potential of approximately $1,814.25, or a 36-hour commitment per week.
