Job Description:

This MICU Registered Nurse position at a major medical center offers an engaging opportunity to work with adult and geriatric patients experiencing complex conditions such as oncologic emergencies, COPD, pneumonia, ARDS, gastrointestinal bleeding, and sepsis. You will be providing care for patients requiring advanced procedures like mechanical ventilation, pulmonary artery catheter placement, CRRT, and complex medication regimens, often involving specialized treatments like bronchoscopy and endoscopy. The role involves monitoring cardiac and pulmonary status, managing central lines, and collaborating within a high-acuity environment. Expect to work a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) for a 13-week contract, completing 36 hours per week. Be prepared for rotating schedules that may include days, nights, or a combination, based on department needs.
