Job Description:

Work a 12-hour days assignment in a fast-paced critical care setting located in Terre Haute, Indiana. This role supports a unit where you’ll care for adults across a wide range of conditions including respiratory, trauma, neuro, cardiac, renal, and OB. You’ll be part of a structured schedule featuring a 4-week plan with weekend coverage—3 weekend shifts per cycle—so you can expect Saturdays and Sundays as key coverage days on the days schedule.

Shifts run 0700–1930 for days (with an option for 1900–0730 shifts as applicable). The unit uses Cerner, and float assignments are possible, including potential movement to stepdown. Staffing patterns follow a 1:2 ratio with the possibility of shifting up to 1:30 based on unit needs.

This traveler position is ideal for an experienced critical care professional who is comfortable handling high acuity workflows and collaborating within a larger care team. Navy blue scrubs are required, and the right fit will bring hands-on critical care experience plus current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.

Weather:

Expect a mix of comfortable days and cooler evenings, with occasional rain and breezy conditions. Overall, the season is often pleasant for getting outside between shifts.
