Job Description:
Seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel contract in Scranton, PA. This night shift role from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. involves floating to the Tele unit, providing integral care in a high-acuity environment. The position requires a minimum of two years of ICU experience, ACLS certification, and familiarity with Cerner EMR. Candidates with open heart surgery and Impella experience will find themselves especially well-suited for this assignment. The workload includes a patient ratio of 2:1, with a surge plan of 3:1, all in a 20-bed unit. Expect to work every other weekend and every other holiday, with flexibility to meet the unit's needs. The role features a rate of $90/hour with a 36-hour weekly commitment, offering an engaging opportunity for ICU professionals eager to elevate their expertise while exploring the vibrant city of Scranton.
