Job Description:

Join our travel healthcare team as a critical care professional supporting a fast-paced 36-hour/week schedule in Terre Haute, Indiana. This assignment focuses on high-acuity, time-sensitive work across a mix of common presentations including respiratory, trauma, neuro, cardiac, renal, and OB. You’ll work with Cerner and support a flexible unit flow that may include stepdown as needed.

Shift structure is 12-hour nights with self-scheduling. Weekend coverage follows a 4-week rotation pattern (Days: Sat/Sun; Nights: Fri–Sat). Team workflow follows established staffing ratios (typical 1:2, with the potential to increase to 1:30). You’ll use navy blue scrubs and bring critical care experience to a unit with 36 private beds, utilizing a 24 setting.

What makes this role especially unique: the combination of Cerner-based documentation, a rotating weekend cadence, and the variety of case types you’ll encounter—requiring an experienced critical care clinician who can confidently adapt when the work shifts between core critical care and possible stepdown needs.

Expect a mix of mild and changing conditions, with comfortable days and cooler evenings. You may see occasional rain and seasonal temperature swings, so layering is helpful for time both in and out of the city.
