Job Description:

Step into a vital ICU Registered Nurse role within a busy Neuro/Surgical Intensive Care Unit. You'll be responsible for managing adult to geriatric patients, primarily focusing on neuro and surgical cases, with some overflow from medical ICU patients. The shift runs from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, providing a rewarding nighttime rhythm to your workweek. This assignment offers a hands-on experience with unit systems like Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR, and requires proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications. You'll be floating within the facility as needed, working with a 1:2-3 nurse-to-patient ratio, in a 15-bed unit with semi-private rooms and an average census of 10. Flexibility on time off is available, but weekends are every other week, and holiday work may be required based on the calendar.
