Job Description:

Join a dedicated ICU team in Stayton, Oregon, for a 13-week travel nursing assignment. This role involves providing intensive care to adult patients with complex conditions such as septic shock, DKA, hypoxemia, and COVID-19. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, supporting the ICU with hands-on titration of drips like Propofol, fentanyl, insulin, and more. This environment requires adaptability and confidence in reading telemonitor strips and managing ventilated patients. You'll collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, RTs, and monitor techs, all within a small community hospital setting that offers a chance to hone resourceful nursing skills. Two shifts per week are scheduled, with every other weekend required, providing a good balance of work and recovery time. Some float requirements to IMCU, MS, and potentially the ER add variety to your experience.
