Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers an engaging opportunity for experienced labor and delivery nurses to work in a bustling hospital setting in Garden City, Kansas. You will be responsible for circulating in OR procedures, managing couplet care, and responding to the needs of postpartum and LDRP patients during 12-hour night shifts. The role involves working with patients experiencing a variety of obstetric concerns, with a strong focus on fetal monitoring and adherence to AWHONN guidelines. You'll collaborate with a dedicated team including surgical techs and have access to in-house neonatologists and anesthesia coverage, ensuring a comprehensive work environment. This assignment provides a hands-on experience in a facility with modern OB units, where your skills in titrating drips and utilizing GE and OBIX fetal monitoring systems will be put to good use. Expect a fast-paced, rewarding role working on a unit that values professionalism and teamwork, with the added excitement of participating in the birth of approximately 50-60 babies each month.
