Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract places you in the Med Surg Intermediate Care Unit at Aspirus Stevens Point, where you'll work 12-hour night shifts with a flexible rotation. Your role will involve managing a variety of patients, including those with sepsis, trauma, GI bleed, and spinal injuries, often requiring close monitoring of insulin drips and other complex care needs. Expect to float across different inpatient units and adapt swiftly to the fast-paced environment. You’ll be the go-to professional for incident management, documentation (EPIC experience preferred), and ensuring smooth patient transitions, all while maintaining independence and efficiency. This setting offers a unique chance to deepen your critical care skills in a stable, hospital-based interior atmosphere—no long-term care facilities here, only the real deal of acute care with a supportive team.
