Job Description:

This 12-week contract offers a chance to work as a PCU Float Registered Nurse in Augusta, GA, with scheduled 12-hour day shifts from 07:00 to 19:00. You'll be supporting adult to geriatric patient populations across multiple units, including Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Progressive Care. The role involves floating between units, adapting to different patient needs and unit systems like Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR. Candidates with at least one year of experience are encouraged to apply, including first-timers eager to gain solid hospital exposure. Expect a typical patient ratio of 1:4-5 in PCU and 1:5-6 in Medical-Surgical or Tele units. This assignment requires compliance with certain certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIH) and professional appearance with navy scrubs. Working every other weekend and covering major holidays, you'll have the opportunity to experience the hospital's fast-paced environment while maintaining a balanced schedule. The focus is on providing quality nursing support in a dynamic hospital setting, where your skills will be essential in patient stabilization and care coordination.
