Job Description:
This CVICU Registered Nurse role offers a challenging and rewarding opportunity in a high-acuity cardiac intensive care setting. You'll be responsible for monitoring critically ill patients, managing ventilators, arterial lines, and pulmonary artery catheters, and responding to complex cardiac arrhythmias. The position involves a mix of direct patient oversight and technical skills, including medication administration and invasive device management. Experience in cardiology or CVICU is essential, and you'll thrive working within a team that handles patients with heart failure, post-cardiac arrest, and advanced mechanical circulatory support like LVADs and Impella devices. The shift is a 4-day workweek of 12-hour days, with scheduling flexibility for every other weekend work. This assignment is ideal for nurses eager to deepen their expertise in cardiac critical care while working in a state-of-the-art facility known for its teaching and trauma capabilities.
