Job Description:

Join a valued ICU RN team providing specialized care for post-operative patients in the PACU unit. This role involves caring for ICU boarders, primarily trauma overflow patients, with the flexibility to float to the ED for ICU holds or other ICU/Stepdown units based on patient census. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, offering a chance to experience a unique schedule that differs from traditional day shifts. The unit operates Sunday through Saturday, with no shifts on Sundays, giving you a consistent overnight routine. Your responsibilities include assessing, implementing, and evaluating patient care under the supervision of licensed physicians, collaborating with healthcare team members, and guiding support staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Previous trauma experience is not mandatory but familiarity with ICU protocols will be beneficial. This assignment provides an opportunity to refine your critical care skills while working in a supportive environment.
