Job Description:

Join a busy oncology-focused medical-surgical telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse on a 12-hour rotating shift. You will provide care for patients with a variety of diagnoses, including solid tumors and blood cancers, within a high-acuity setting that emphasizes infection control and fall prevention. This assignment offers the opportunity to develop your chemotherapy skills through a training course if you're interested, though prior oncology experience is preferred but not required. The role involves floating within units of similar or lower acuity to meet staffing needs, and schedules are flexible with self-requested shifts. Expect to support a patient load of approximately four to five patients per nurse, with equipment such as telemetry monitors, bladder scanners, and infusion pumps at your disposal.
