Job Description:

This contract position is ideal for experienced ER nurses ready to take on a fast-paced critical care environment in Ashland, Oregon. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, providing crucial support in a small ER setting with seven rooms and eight gurneys, often functioning independently with backup from the House Supervisor and ER physician. The role involves using Omnicell and MediTech for order management, and it offers a unique opportunity to hone your skills in Acute Care, handling high-acuity cases that demand confidence and autonomy. Expect to spend time floating to different departments when needed, with a schedule that includes every other weekend, 8s and 12s during day and evening shifts, and a guaranteed 36 hours per week over 13 weeks. The job emphasizes quick thinking, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a small but busy ER.
