Job Description:

Join a rural emergency department in Henderson, North Carolina, as an RN for a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. This fast-paced, high-acuity setting offers a unique opportunity to use your skills in a busy, top-rated facility with a focus on stroke, sepsis, STEMI, and peripheral IV experience. You'll be part of a dedicated team in a 20-bed ER that handles a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics, with patient ratios typically around 1:4 or 1:5 during surges. Expect to work 36 hours per week, with six weekend shifts within a six-week period. Orientation sessions are scheduled to prepare you for this high-energy environment, which is part of a Joint Commission-accredited hospital known for safety and comprehensive emergency care.
