Job Description:

This position calls for an experienced PCU Registered Nurse to provide night shift coverage in a surgical Progressive Care Unit with near-ICU acuity. You will manage post-operative patients following ENT, thoracic, general surgery, and urology procedures, including chest tubes, trachs, feeding tubes, epidurals, and non-titratable cardiac drips. The role includes floating across units when needed. Expect the opportunity to precept or shadow students at a teaching facility. The schedule involves 12-hour night shifts, working every other week with potential for consecutive weekends depending on operational needs. Expect a busy but engaging environment that keeps your skills sharp and your experience varied, all while supporting complex patient cases in a specialized surgical setting.
