Job Description:

Join a prestigious Level I Trauma Center in New Haven, CT, as an ER Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract working 12-hour night shifts. This role offers a unique opportunity to cross-train and float across multiple campuses and ED observation units, gaining exposure to diverse clinical settings. You will be responsible for providing expert emergency care, managing complex trauma cases, and maintaining excellent patient flow during overnight hours. Candidates with at least 1.5 years of ER experience at a similar hospital are encouraged to apply. You will work an average of 36 hours per week, with guaranteed hours to ensure steady income. Night shifts run from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, and familiarity with TNCC, ACLS, and BLS certifications is required. Experience with Level 1 trauma experience is essential, and travelers should be comfortable with floating within scope and adapting to various departments as needed.
