Job Description:

Step into a travel ED RN contract in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, built for an experienced emergency department nurse who enjoys hands-on, fast-moving shifts and clear priorities. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts in a variable schedule, with weekend and holiday rotations every other weekend and every other holiday. The role includes the possibility of prescheduled floating to nearby Aspirus locations (Howard Young or Eagle River) if needed—so you’ll be ready to adapt while maintaining strong workflow habits.

Expect real ED rhythm: low-census call coverage can occur, and call back carries a minimum 2-hour commitment. The assignment is set up for 36 guaranteed hours per week, with an additional allowance for eligible low census unbillable hours. If you’re the RN who thrives on preparedness, timely documentation, and consistent standards, this contract is a great fit—especially with EPIC charting required.

Required certifications include WI RN licensure, BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS, TNCC, and PALS. During flu season, compliance with the masking policy is mandatory for any traveler who declines flu and COVID vaccination.
