Job Description:

Join a dedicated Labor & Delivery team in Medford, Oregon, where you'll play a crucial role in caring for high-risk labor and antepartum patients. This assignment involves managing patients with epidurals, insulin drips, IV magnesium, and preterm labor, alongside circulating in the OR and assisting during deliveries. You'll also float to other W&C units, including NICU, Peds, and postpartum; these units typically involve lower acuity cases. The setting features modern equipment like computerized charting and Epic systems. Expect a supportive environment with OB hospitalists available 24/7, and preparing for patient loads of about 1 labor and 2-3 antepartum patients daily. This role offers a fascinating glimpse into high-acuity obstetric care while enjoying the scenic surroundings of Southern Oregon.
