Job Description:

This OR RN contract offers an exciting opportunity to work in a bustling cardiac surgical department in Chicago. You'll be scrubbed in for a variety of procedures, circulating and assisting as part of a dedicated 7-member team. The schedule consists of 10-hour days from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a requirement to be available for weekend call and holiday coverage—expect 7 call days per month, including one weekend. The role involves mastering standard OR equipment and collaborating closely with your colleagues. Your days will be filled with meaningful surgical procedures, requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience, AHA PALS certification, and a valid Illinois license at submission. This assignment provides ample hands-on experience in a high-stakes cardiac environment, all while working in a lively city known for its vibrant culture and history.
