Job Description:

This cardiology-focused ICU assignment places you in a busy Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, where you'll be managing patients with complex cardiac conditions. You'll use advanced skills such as IV starts, telemetry monitoring, ventilator management, Swan Ganz catheter placement, conscious sedation, balloon pump management, and PA line placements, all while working within an EPIC electronic health record system. The role offers a chance to float within similar-level units, providing variety and the opportunity to broaden your expertise in cardiac and critical care. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, including some weekends and rotating holidays, with up to 6 weekend shifts per schedule. This assignment is ideal for experienced cardiac ICU nurses looking to challenge their skills and experience the unique rhythm of a major academic medical center.
