Job Description:

Join a vibrant emergency department in Alexandria, VA, as a Registered Nurse specializing in emergency care. This 13-week travel assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a busy community ER equipped with 27 beds, serving as a stroke center and treating a wide range of adult and pediatric emergency cases. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with a weekly commitment of approximately 36 hours. Our team values experienced nurses with at least two years in a high-volume ER setting, and certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association is required. Expect to be part of a hardworking team that balances staffing ratios during peak times, and enjoy the camaraderie that comes with working in such a dynamic environment. While on-call is not mandatory, staff members may voluntarily pick up additional shifts if desired.
