Job Description:

This Phase I Recovery RN role at San Juan Regional Medical Center offers a unique opportunity to work in a busy, high-acuity PACU setting in Farmington, New Mexico. The position focuses on trauma level recovery for general surgery, orthopedic, neuro, obstetrics/gynecology, urology, ENT, and robotic procedures. You'll be essential in monitoring adult patients in a 7-bed unit, with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2, and possibly support pre-op or endoscopy units. Expect to work 10-hour days over 13 weeks, providing hands-on care in a facility recognized as one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S. Requirements include at least 3 years of relevant recovery experience, BLS, and ACLS certifications. The role demands quick start capability within 10 business days and involves weekend and evening on-call duties, making it ideal for those seeking an engaging and fast-paced travel assignment.
