Job Description:

Join a fast-paced PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) setting in Omaha, Nebraska, for a 13-week contract working 12-hour day shifts. As a perioperative registered nurse, you'll be managing patients recovering from various surgical procedures, including orthopedic, bariatric, general, urology, spine, gynecology, and sports medicine cases. This role offers a unique opportunity to refine your PACU skills in a dynamic environment while working with EPIC electronic medical records. You'll be part of a team that emphasizes patient safety and effective recovery, with a balanced mix of patient acuity and variety. The position includes a weekend call requirement about every 5-6 weekends and holiday coverage. It's a chance to gain diverse experience in perioperative care, with shifts scheduled in an adaptable mix of 8, 10, and 12 hours, all under the management's scheduling.
