Job Description:

Join a bustling Medical Respiratory Unit as a travel Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract, working 12-hour night shifts. In this role, you'll provide expert care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions, including pneumonia, COPD, and other lung diseases. You'll be part of a dedicated team caring for both respiratory and medical patients, with opportunities to float to other units and hospitals as needed. Expect a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio on the main unit and a 1:4 ratio in the respiratory step-down area. Your responsibilities will include daily rounds, administering treatments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Candidates should have at least 2 years of recent experience, an Alabama or Compact RN license, and current BLS certification. This assignment offers a lively schedule, working approximately 36 hours a week, with guaranteed hours to ensure consistent income.
