Job Description:

Join a lively stepdown and medical-surgical float nurse role at a well-respected healthcare facility in Beaufort, South Carolina. This position is perfect for RNs with at least two years of med-surg experience who thrive on variety and adaptability. You'll be working 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), floating between a 29-bed general surgical and ortho unit and the MS/Tele overflow unit. Flexibility to float to your PCU unit as needed is essential, and the ability to handle patient ratios of 1:4-5 in stepdown and 1:5-6 in med-surg is expected. This 13-week contract offers an engaging experience in an environment where you'll handle IV starts, respond to different patient needs, and work with Meditech EMR. Traveling within 50 miles of the facility is required, and you must already hold a South Carolina license. The facility emphasizes team collaboration and offers the chance to develop your skills in a supportive setting.
