Job Description:

Join a busy Progressive Care Unit in Rockford, Illinois, as a registered nurse specializing in cardiac care. This 9-week travel assignment offers 12-hour night shifts from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM, including every third weekend and rotating holidays. You’ll be caring for a diverse mix of cardiac and post-procedure patients, including open heart, TAVR, Watchman, and patients requiring titrating drips. The unit operates with a single pod of eight patients and includes those with new bipap, DKA, CIWA, and other critical needs. This role provides an engaging environment where your skills in managing complex cardiac cases will be truly utilized. The weekly commitment is 36 hours, offering time to enjoy the city’s surroundings and attractions.
