Job Description:

This travel RN contract offers an engaging opportunity in a fast-paced stepdown unit, where you'll be integral in managing patients with conditions such as heart failure, Afib, respiratory distress, and stroke. The role involves working 12-hour night shifts, providing a chance to immerse yourself in critical patient scenarios with a patient load of 1:4. You'll be responsible for titrating drips like Cardizem, amiodarone, and nitro, as well as interpreting telemonitors and troubleshooting equipment like ventilators and CPAP machines. The unit emphasizes teamwork, a positive attitude, and patient-oriented care. Expect a supportive environment with orientation, a 22-bed capacity, and opportunities to float to ICU if you have experience. This assignment combines technical expertise with real-time decision-making in a dynamic healthcare setting that values your skills and dedication.
