Job Description:

This PCU Registered Nurse role offers an engaging opportunity to work in a dedicated medical-surgical unit specializing in adult and geriatric patient care. Your responsibilities will include managing a diverse caseload that features burns, plastic and reconstructive surgeries, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial procedures. Expect to perform special procedures such as burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy. The shift runs during the overnight hours, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other or third weekend, with floating within the Ohio State University Medical Center as needed. This assignment is suited for nurses with at least one year of recent PCU experience and familiarity with EPIC and Pyxis systems. Previous charge RN and teaching hospital experience are preferred but not mandatory. You will be part of a team delivering high-quality care and supporting patients during critical moments in their recovery journey.
