Job Description:

Join a vital oncology care team as a Certified Registered Nurse specializing in chemotherapy administration. In this role, you will act as a key liaison among patients, their families, and multidisciplinary clinical teams, ensuring comprehensive support at every step. Your daily responsibilities include assessing a wide range of patient needs—clinical, emotional, spiritual, psychosocial, and financial—and facilitating effective communication to address concerns promptly. You will educate patients and families about treatments, side effects, and signs to watch for, helping them navigate their care journey confidently. Additionally, you'll coordinate discharge plans with social workers, home nursing staff, oncologists, and family members, ensuring clear understanding of discharge instructions. This position offers a chance to develop educational materials and participate in multidisciplinary tumor conferences, contributing to the development of personalized treatment plans that are both understandable and feasible for patients. Serving as a clinical partner and escalation point, you will play a critical role in patient advocacy and community education efforts, promoting early detection and prevention awareness.
