Job Description:

Join a busy ICU unit in Illinois for a 13-week travel assignment that will keep you on your toes. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts, where you'll be responsible for managing patients with a variety of diagnoses, including sepsis, stroke, DKA, and PNA. You’ll run codes actively, titrate multiple drips such as Levo, Neo, and Insulin, and collaborate closely with hospitalists. The ICU holds 8 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2-3, and the unit is primarily focused on primary care nursing. Experience with Meditech, telemetry, and prior travel assignments are highly valued, especially if you’re comfortable with complex medication mixing and handling critical situations. This is a fast-paced, rewarding environment that offers a chance to showcase your ICU skills in a hospital setting that values autonomy and expertise.
