Job Description:

Join a bustling Intermediate Care unit that’s currently managing ICU overflow cases. This role involves working in a dual-level care environment, including telemetry, PCU, and ICU settings, focusing on patients with conditions such as chest pain, strokes, respiratory failure, and sepsis. You will be responsible for providing specialized care during 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, with holidays as needed. The unit’s focus on advanced certifications like NIHSS, ACLS, and BLS ensures a skillful and prepared team. Expect to handle patient ratios of 1:5-6 on the floor, with specialized ratios of 1:3 in PCU and 1:2 in ICU, within a 25-bed facility. This role offers a unique chance to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment that emphasizes critical thinking and clinical expertise.
